Her Referee informs her that the campaign setting will revolve around a group of somewhat-reformed criminals and mercs who take jobs from private “fixers” to solve problems in the shadows for corporations and governments, running afoul of both in the process. Yesterday was talk-like-a-pirate day. Played a home-brew pirate-themed OSR game built-up from scratch with help from the family, heavily inspired by Sid Meier's Pirates! computer game, Merchants & Marauders board game, and the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. It was so much fun I think I might some day formalize it into a rules set, commission some art, and get it edited.
