Last night I started uploading characters and tiles to http://roll20.net/ in order to do some solo play testing. I have a couple friends that have shown interest in testing as well, Roll20 will allow me to do that. :D
Below you'll find a development snapshot (we hope you enjoy the ones we've been posting for FS). All the chapters are written, I have the Event, Campfire, Creature and Omen decks hand-printed and some heroes ready to play.
We built a tool to give guidelines for Referee's to create creatures based on those found in our world. Select a base creature, adjust stats and size, behavior it will exhibit and final you may give it special abilities.
Here's a dev snapshot.
Playing with art styles to create deck plans, here is a GTEK runabout, an entry-level character ship for FrontierSpace.
Note there isn't a text block describing the ship, but we'll have one in published adventure. For instance, the drawing below does not indicate hatches where characters would enter the ship, there isn't a cabinet in the bathroom to hold toothbrushes, etc.
Feedback welcome and encouraged.
Here's an excerpt of the Introduction chapter text for FrontierSpace RPG. We thought some of you would enjoy it, as it helps set the stage for the types of adventures to be had. Comments welcome :-)»Read more
Another great lite product from the same fellow who brought you Covert Ops: Other Traits. This time it's a whole host of character options to better define your agent. Those familiar with the James Bond 007 RPG from ages past will remember the concept of "Areas of Expertise" and will enjoy their implementation in the scope of your Covert Ops game by use of this clever supplement. And distributed for free!
If you like it, drop the author (The.Git) a note and let him know!
