Hey there--I noticed that on the character sheet, the level bonus for the Warrior skill applies to both Meless and Ranged. However, the P/S bonus is split between the two. Just to be clear, if I choose Warrior as my primary skill, do I need to assign my +20 primary bonus to either melee or ranged, and not both?
Warrior skill is indeed a bit unusual since it has two scores. You select the P/S bonus per skill, not per score. Therefore, if you decide the "Warrior" skill is primary (+20) or secondary (+10) to your character concept, that P/S bonus applies to both scores in that skill.

Thanks for the quick response! I'd suggest, then, that just as the level bonus field for Warrior spans both melee and ranged combat, so should the P/S field. That would help to reinforce that rule.

Yeah, we updated the character sheet in our download section. Also note that the character sheet found inside the core rulebook did indeed have these cells spanning. Somehow we overlooked it on the 8.5x11 version. Thanks for pointing it out! :)
This brings up a question for me. Besides being able to hit the target very well, what else does the Warrior receive? I mean since it's an ability anyone can use, can one not improve their score and hit just as well??
I think a lot of players put something into Warrior, be it the +20 primary, +10 secondary, a level 1 skill or combination. It's a dangerous world and you need to be able to defend yourself. As characters progress you'll see some placing levels in Warrior while other seek experience in other areas thus separating those who can effectively swing a sword and those who can't. The dwarf champion carrying a battleaxe will excel in combat (by putting levels in Warrior) while the adventurous historian will put levels in Scholar.
