Last year we started a BareBones Fantasy Bestiary Contest, today we've committed to publishing this supplement in the next few months. There is a lot of work to be done (drawing 200+ creatures, formatting text, layout, interior spot art, editing, etc.)

As we continue to work on the supplement we'll update the community of progress here on this blog (I'll cross-post to g+/twitter).

BareBones Bestiary

What I've done so far...

• Compiled a project document.
• Ben Gorman worked on a 233 page rich-text document of 74,000+ words, I've taken that work and put it in Word layout, adding H1 and H2 headers.
• Added 50% of the contest creatures, more to be added this weekend.
• Discussed direction of project with Bill and Ben

Lots more to do....

• Add BBF core creatures
• Add BBF creatures from the published adventures
• Review content for intellectual property violations
• Draw 200+ creature silhouettes
• And much, much more...

Prize Winners
I believe we'll hold off on drawing winners until the product is ready to ship.
