Hello DwD Community! We're stepping in today to address some concerns about our game studio and product lines. We're aware of the silence that has come from our end, and that one of our own having to step back and tend to his personal life has left many questioning the fate of our game lines.
Despite operating on a skeleton crew, there has been much progress. The most recent news is that our current big game project, Covert Ops, has been sent out for editing. We'd like to extend a big thank you to our play testers for their feedback and input, for they really helped keep this project afloat.
Aside from Covert Ops, we've recently put out a new card game -- Salvage Ops. Readers of the StarFrontiersman may remember this as a print & play game; now, it's available via TheGameCrafter with awesome artwork and high quality game pieces. It's a fast paced, risk-taking game where you race your friends in an attempt to salvage a space vessel before it explodes! http://dwdstudios.com/node/3300
Speaking of the StarFrontiersman, we've had three new issues of our free eMag emerge since August. So if you hadn't caught up, check out the links below! (You can also check out our past archive of issues!)

So where are things going? Covert Ops is the main focus right now, and should be out very soon. New previews will start rolling out very shortly. Let me take a moment to say: There's a lot to like with this new take of the BareBones/d00lite rules. Fans of our games should be delighted to see what's been going on these last few months.
After Covert Ops launches, expect to see some further support of it and BareBones Fantasy, as well as development of our science fiction game FrontierSpace.
We owe a huge thanks to everyone in the community who believes in us and continue to enjoy our games! It's your support that keeps us motivated to bring you the fun.

Thanks so much for this! The update on what is going on at DwD is welcome. I know I am not alone in saying that I am very much looking forward to the release of Covert Ops, to more BareBones Fantasy, and, of course, the eagerly anticipated FrontierSpace. I appreciate the hard work and creativity that undoubtedly goes into creating each of these great games.
I also know that others join me in wishing our very best to Larry. While he is sorely missed, I hope he knows that our thoughts and prayers are with him.
I am glad that things are clearing up here. Covert Ops looks promising and I am looking forward to it myself. I can only wait for FrontierSpace while I am getting back to developing my own campaign setting. Will be posting more planets soon!
And I can only wish Larry the best....
Thanks for the update. Looking forward to further supporting you!

Wow, that's service!!! I had just noticed the same thing when checking on availability for my "adopted" son Will, who enjoyed the game so much he wanted to purchase it. I was going to mention it at the meeting tonight.

Hello - I didn't know where to ask this ...
what's the status on Malevolent Domain? It seemed like it was due out Halloween last year.
With the success of the Walking Dead, it seems like an excellent time to bring the game out. The glimpses we
Not complaining, just asking!
I was mentioning this to Bill just the other day. I am not sure how to answer this. Bill has done a lot of work on this game, but I am not sure he is happy enough with it yet to go to the next stage. I am headed out to spend a weekend with Bill in two weeks, and should have a better idea then.

Hi Mark ... did conversation turn to Malevolent Domain? Cheers.
