I am planning our first real starship combat and want to make sure I understand the rules for capacitors...
If the party has a ship with 20 capacitors and they have their security reflect screen up and get hit with 3D worth of laser damage totaling 24 HP damage...
If I read this correctly, the 20 capacitors would absorb 20hp (out of 24)worth of damage and the hull would take 4 HP?...and I think this means the party's ship wouldn't have any additional capacitors (until they recharge) to do other things...like fire lasers, use another screen, etc.
