Instead of receiving 3 tokens and just handing over a bone, the player receives dice as bones and can "roll a bone". If the player rolls a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, he fails the attempt. If he rolls a 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10, the attempt succeeds. This number must be natural, it cannot be modified.
The GM can choose to keep the number of bones as is, or provide 4 bones at character creation, and for the bones score, provide +1 Bones at each rank. (Including first.)
What this does is give players a wider range of success or failure. They can control their destinies only to a certain extent, or rather, a 50/50 chance to control it. But they also have a chance to produce much more epic success or be boned by fate.
