Hey community!
So, we missed a Monday release. Sometimes it can be a challenge finding "hobby time" to continue a Monday release schedule, that pesky family stuff gets in the way! ;)
We wanted to start "blogging" as an attempt to keep the community informed (we post often on G+, however not everybody has an account or keeps up on their streams). It will be a challenge; we are constantly working on stuff, believe you me and to add yet another thing on the to-do list might tip the scales of insanity in the wrong direction! If you have an RSS reader, there is a link at the bottom of each page on this site, the main feed is here: http://dwdstudios.com/rss.xml
So, what's up April?
Bestiary
Ben, Bill and I came up with a layout for the Bestiary, let us know what you think of the sample.
Still lots of work to do on this project; filling in the stat blocks and cutting and pasting alone will take hours! We are super excited to see it come together and have some idea to round out the supplement. Each creature has a new stat called "harvest" which represents the types of things you can gather from a creature and how much the might bring on the market. This type of information has several uses including harvesting and selling, list special ingredients for potions or magical objects, etc.
BareBones Fantasy GM Screen

Play, Talk and Win
DwD Studios is trying to raise some money to attend several cons this year, trying to increase our product's exposure. It's all designed to help us earn money to make FrontierSpace awesome! So far we've been able to accomplish a lot out-of-pocket and with no crowd-funding. BareBones Fantasy and Covert Ops will always be important product lines given lots of our attention, but we are super excited to be working on FrontierSpace again.
So here's the idea... a marketing campaign. We're asking YOU - those of you who enjoy our products, to promote them with us. Talk about them in forums all across the world wide web. Add stuff to your signatures if you want. Blog. Review. Tweet. Most importantly - link to the product pages on rpgnow with the following appended to the link:
&src=youremail@whateverdomain.com
For instance, if Bill Logan were to engage in conversation in a post on rpg.net involving BareBones Fantasy races - he might mention the cool Flesh & Blood supplement, and provide a link that looks like this:
http://www.rpgnow.com/product/112818&src=myemail@domain.com
Now if someone follows that link and buys the product, rpgnow provides tools for us to analyze market sources and that will allow us to see a count of the number of sales of any products that are credited to myemail@domain.com. Cool, right?
When we see 5 sales attributed to your email address - we'll contact you and request that you pick any of our digital download products, and we'll send you a coupon for it... free! For every 5 sales attributed to you... another product... free! We'll keep this up until the end of June, 2014.
Please help us make it to cons... which helps us broaden our exposure... which helps us make more sales... which helps us make FrontierSpace rock!
