I go through the checklist on pg 22 and typically hand out between 5-7 per player.

End of each session? Or end of the adventure. It took my guys two sessions to get through Maidens of Mordoth.

I generally go by the end of the session. Usually, if I'm playing with my son and his friends, we play for about 6 hours, generally completing an adventure, and hand out 10-12. My Friday Friends generally play about 3 hours and we usually earn about 5ish per session. We hand out the same DP to everyone, so we aren't quite so rigorous with the checklist.

Our sessions have run 4-6 hours. We are averaging 7-9 DP awarded at the end of each session as per BBF (At the end of each game session, the GM must go through the follwoing checklist.). We go by the checklist. We are finding it encourages role-playing, reinforces character themes and gives the Human character's their due.
