FS - Playtest

PostDateIcon Fri, 10/07/2016 - 11:51am | PostAuthorIcon w00t

Background
Our character are still employed by Fenris Corp - I'm the pilot, Bill's the tech. We ferry around hunters to acquire exotic hides for the fashion industry.

Story
While fixing a vehicle in the woods we spot a life pod screaming through atmo. With a crash and a boom we are dusted by high-winds carrying debris. Calling the Admin he directs us to investigate.

The original call for testers favored face-to-face groups.
For later phases, can we cast the net wider to online?

I lament the lack of a d00lite character sheet in Roll20. Any Mentor-level Roll20 users willing to make the attempt? Some of the mechanics might not be easy, but even just a sheet full of fields would be a good start (and would get FrontierSpace (and possibly BBF and CO) into the Orr Report).

Maybe the SF sheet would be a jumping off point.

Online play is totally acceptable. When my current f2f group switches back to fantasy I'll swap to online play myself.

I have macros and a sheet I started as Pro. It was actually fairly easy. However I dropped by Pro and not sure if I'll spend the time to use advanced macro's. At this time, my opinion of roll20 is simply replacing the "table" portion of f2f play. When I ran Covert Ops 2.0, we used paper sheet and rolled physical dice and announced "success" or "failure". (my players were good spies, ;) )

Send myself or Bill a private-msg or email info (at) dwdstudios.com and we'll get you setup. :D

I want to try running the game on Roll20 as well. I'm clueless about it, and don't plan on using it for anything more than a virtual tabletop. I want people to have character sheets in front of them when they play, and dice to roll. That having been said, if someone wants to set all that up and teach me how to use it I'm game :-P
